The cyber Power PowerPanel Personal Edition is an exclusive software that allows the user to control and monitor his UPS so as to ensure protection of the computer system, all its components and peripherals, and the data. If there is a power loss, the software automatically saves all the user files and safely turns off the computer in an orderly manner. The software is compatible with Windows 2000, Server 2003, XP 32/64, Vista 32/64, and Server 2008.
The program indicates whether AC utility Power or Internal Battery Power is used. The software shows the status of the battery and charges it automatically. The PowerPanel indicates expected runtime of the PC based on the current capacity of the battery and the current load on the PC. It also allows the user to configure the various devices according to his personal preferences and customize the system notifications including the voltage options, runtime settings and self test settings.
There is also a help file provided to the user for assistance. The program notifies the voltage being supplied to the UPS. It shows the status of power if it is normal, or outage. It also provides information about internal condition of the battery. It provides facilities to the user to keep track of the events related to power and allows user to define the time period for which he wants to keep the history of events. The maximum runtime and the minimum battery usage are also user defined.
